NMHA 2009 Minutes Summary

Borderline Beagle Club will host the 2010 Championship Derby & Winner's Stake.

Championship Derby will be June 19th, 2010

The Championship Derby 15” Combined Class will go down at 7:00 a.m. central

standard time and the 13” Combined Class at 10:00 a.m central standard time.

Winner's Stake will be June 20th, 2010

The Winner’s Stake 15” Combined Class will go down at 7:00 a.m. central

standard time and the 13” Combined Class at 10:00 a.m central standard time.

The NMHA Hall of Fame proposal was dropped due to lack of criteria and interest.  It was suggested by John Quigley that recognition of Beaglers and Hounds could still be done at the club level.

The NMHA will support Borderline Beagle Club hosting a Better Beagling Champion of Champions Trial but all expenses occurred will be the responsibility of the Borderline Beagle Club.

Kim Martin has resigned from the NMHA Webmaster position. Due to time constraints with work, family and their business Kim found it hard to keep up with the website.  Holly Wendrick is the new NMHA Webmaster.  Thank You Kim for all you have done.

Holly Wendrick will be paid $100.00 for maintenance and supplies for the website.

Entry monies for the Championship Stake will go to the NMHA starting 6-13-2009 instead of going to the

hosting club.

Association dues has been raised from $95 to $150.00. The $20.00 for the website fee is to be added to the $150.00 so the total dues for each club will be $170.00.

The Association will not provide the dinner anymore.

Federation Meeting will be held at the International Hare Futurity at the Northfield Beagle Club, Williamstown, Vermont on July 5th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

Judges for the 2009 Nationals:  Sandy Creek Beagle Club, New York, November 7th & 8th, 2009

Scott Morgan, John DeWyse, and Steve Aman said they would be interested in judging at the Nationals and Bob King would be an alternate.
